VILLAGE OF CHAMPLAIN
SPECIAL BOARD MEETING MINUTES
SEPTEMBER 1, 2009

A special meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Champlain was held on Tuesday, September 1, 2009, at the Village Office, 1104 Route 9, Champlain, New York.  Present were Mayor Moore, Trustee Martin, and Trustee Thomas Trombley.  Trustee Gehrig and Trustee Kim Trombley were excused this evening.

Mayor Moore called the meeting to order at 4:10 p.m.  The Board discussed the memo presented to them by Larry Sorrell.  A motion was made by Trustee Martin, seconded by Trustee Trombley and carried, to appoint Larry Sorrell as Superintendent of Public Works for the Village of Champlain at an annual salary of $47,500.  All benefits will continue as stated by Village Personnel Policy.

Mayor Moore appointed Larry Sorrell as Superintendent of Public Works to serve through April 5, 2010, which is the date of the next Organization Meeting.

Adjournment

There being no further business to come before the Board this evening, a motion was made by Trustee Trombley, seconded by Trustee Martin and carried, to adjourn the meeting at 4:22 p.m.
